  • Promote 5G device maturity: a.Promote the developments of OS/chipset/device/module to support network slicing and introduce network slicing into vertical industry module;b.Release the technology requirements of R16 new features for 5G chipset/device and research on the impact on 5G device implementation;c.Research on low cost solutions of 5G S-module, 5G device power saving optimization and the new requirements of multi-mode multi-band of 5G Global Device
  • Strengthen intelligent network research: Use case priority and focusing, common intelligent capabilities generalization:a.Intelligent Network Level (INL): Refine measurement and quantification methods for key use cases and carry out practice;b.Intelligent Network Architecture (INA): In-depth analysis of the architectural requirements for intelligent network evolution;c.Intelligent Network Element & Intelligent Network Management (INE&INM): Update function requirements and output potential standardization suggestions

Objective

Build an industry consensus on using 6 GHz for IMT and cultivate an E2E industry ecosystem for large-scale commercial deployment of 6 GHz IMT.

Work Scope

Through study on key technologies, coexistence modelling, parameter settings, as well as field tests, verifying IMT deployment can better coexist with existing services on 6GHz band, which will facilitate the deployment of the 6 GHz IMT. In addition, promote more countries reach an agreement on the WRC-23 IMT identification for 6 GHz through initiatives such as industry consensus announcement and white paper release, aiming at accelerating the maturity of the E2E industry chain and promoting the commercial IMT use of 6GHz in the future.
