GTI Awards 2019 was presented at the GTI Night held on Feb 22nd, 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. A great many high-level representatives from global operators, industry partners as well as organizations attended the event.

A total of 2 operators and 9 industrial partners across terminal, chipsets, network infrastructures, test systems and verticals won awards on "Innovative Breakthrough in Mobile Technology", "Innovative Mobile Service and Application" and "Market Development" for remarkable contributions made in each area. In addition, 9 individuals were granted "Honorary Award" for their technical or marketing efforts that have brought significant credit to the industry and GTI.


Founded in 2012, the GTI Awards program aims to acknowledge achievements and success of industry players in 4G commercialization and its evolution and 5G development across a wide range of market segments.

Bosco Choi, as a Business Development Manager in Anritsu, takes the leadership role in GTI 5G device certification and sets up links between GTI and 3GPP RAN5.

Victoria Wang


Victoria Wang coordinates Ericsson participation and contributions to GTI’s technical work and support presentations in many GTI events.

Taylor Tan


Taylor Tan participated in GTI 5G eMBB in Jan. 2017. He works as the GTI task leader of PoC task and Pre-commercial trial task in 5G Sub6G project and made a great contribution to promote the 5G industry.

I-Kang Fu


Dr. I-Kang Fu has been serving as the project lead of GTI 5G eMBB sub-6GHz project to coordinate with task leads to promote the tasks forward and deliver many GTI white papers.

Diane Dingwei Lu


Dr Diane Dingwei Lu takes the lead role in composing 5G S-Modules White paper and The Vertical Market report. She designs and develops innovative 5G S-Modules, solutions and applications that address challenges faced by GTI operators.

Kathleen Leach


Kathleen Leach is a 20+ year veteran of the Telecom industry. As the chair, she drives the collaboration between the WGs and other GTI Chairs, the Secretary General and the GTI Secretariat.

Paul Cooper


Paul Cooper has worked in the RF semiconductor industry for 43 years. Paul’s role with GTI has been to establish Qorvo as the leader of the GTI’s sub-6GHz RF task and IoT task.

Thomas Eyring

(Rohde & Schwarz)

Mr. Eyring is a project lead for 3G TTCN protocol test. He started to join GTI Workshops in Sept. 2011 (GTI WS#2) and helped to create a GTI scheme for device acceptance successfully testing.

Bernard Bureau


Bernard Bureau actively participated in GTI events and gave presentation to the workshop which has deeply impressed the members and influenced the 5G industry.
