The 8th GTI Workshop will be held on Nov 20–21, 2013, in the Peninsula Bangkok, Thailand.

GTI Workshops are regular meetings among all GTI Members and Partners to share information, address technical issues in TD-LTE industrialization and promote cooperation. The 8th GTI Workshop will be organized into plenary sessions which focus on the latest progress in GTI Working Groups, and separate sessions for respective Working Groups for in-depth discussions on key technical areas for TD-LTE commercialization.

The main themes include:

     • Multi-frequency band network planning

     • Edge computing on eNB

     • Coverage capability enhancement solutions

     • Status update of VoLTE development and applications

     • MMMB PA and RF FEM Solutions

     • Status update of GTI MMMB Smartphone Project

     • Spectrum allocation and application on 3.5GHz

     • Voice(Dual Standby / CSFB/ VoLTE) and data roaming trial with LTE smartphone

     • WiMAX to TD-LTE migration path

Registration

In order to avoid the resource waste caused by register's absence, registration fee for delegates from GTI Partners (vendors) will be charged for 8thGTI Workshop. China Mobile will sponsor operator attendee's registration fee.
 
Step One: On-line Registration

Registration for the meeting provides the GTI Secretariat and meeting planners with important planning information. Please visit GTI website and register the 8th GTI workshop online

Step Two: Pay for Registration fee(Vendors)

We will review your application within 5 working days. If the registration is approved, operators and organizations will receive a confirmation letter, which needs to be printed for attending the Workshop; vendors will receive an email including the payment process.

Registration fee:

The registration fee will be used for paying your share of meeting room rental, equipment rental (Wi-Fi, projector, stereo), refreshment, lunch and etc. We have a rough estimate about all the cost (not including accommodation) that will happen during 8th Workshop for each person (detailed expenses will be presented during Plenary Session).

For vendors, only after completing the payment, confirmation letter will be sent for attending the workshop.
