Bulgarian operator Max Telecom began offering 4G/LTE mobile internet in Burgas and Plovdiv, reports Telecompaper.com on Dec 9, 2014. The addition of the two major cities to the operator\'s 4G/LTE network is in accordance with the operator’s plans to achieve 50 percent coverage of the urban population in the country by the end of 2014. Max Telecom already has 4G/LTE coverage in Sofia, Stara Zagora, Ruse, Sliven, Bansko, Pleven, Varna, Burgas and Plovdiv.

Customers in Burgas and Plovdiv can choose from a variety of subscription plans, which provide high-speed mobile internet at download speeds of 75 Mbps. They can also take advantage of a special holiday offer. The operator offers the LG G Pad 8.0 tablet at an exclusive price of BGN 49 ($30.83) with a two-year contract for the \'Easy Tab 5\' subscription and a variety of 4G/LTE high-speed mobile internet tariff plans.
