GTI launches new English website

2013-12-09 09:10:13| Source:

The GTI launched its new English website today, to provide the latest in news and social activities in telecommunication fields.

In addition to abundant galleries and a wide selection of resources, the website also reported the latest development in GTI and the industry and the social events GTI has undertaken.

Overseas business has played an important part in GTI’s portfolio development and this new English website marks a real step forward in its becoming a global leader. This website will enhance the quality of information and services, the brand image, and its influence abroad and greatly improve GTI’s international business.

The GTI was founded by leading international mobile network operators, in 2011, as an open way for global operators to cooperate and promote TD-LTE. The technology is widely adopted in the United States, Europe, Japan, South Korea and other regional markets.

Days ago, Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued long-awaited 4G licenses to three telecommunications carriers, which will certainly promote the TD-LTE scale deployment globally.

China Mobile gets access to 130MHz of spectrum (1880-1900 MHz, 2320-2370 MHz, 2575-2635 MHz), China Unicom gets 40MHz (2300-2320 MHz, 2555-2575 MHz) and China Telecom has 40MHz (2370-2390 MHz, 2635-2655 MHz) for TD-LTE operation. The commercialization of TD-LTE in China will offer mobile Internet access 20 to 50 times faster than the current 3G network and create a new trillion-yuan market for devices and services.

GTI’s greater purpose is to bring together the leading operators to make the TD-LTE ecosystem the standard in mobile broadband technology and promote the early development of next generation mobile broadband networks. In view of that, a comprehensive English website was obviously a must.

Analysts have praised the English website - http://www.lte-tdd.org/ - for its style, innovative design, content, range of services, and overall applicability and it is a truly interactive, convenient, user-friendly service. Now, this new website has considerably broadened the reach of GTI overseas and will no doubt play a key role in increasing contacts among clients everywhere, as well as cooperation through communication, with top-quality services.
