Ecuador\'s state-owned operator CNT expects its 4G LTE network to reach nationwide coverage within the next two years, reported Telecompaper.com on Sept 4, 2014, citing company marketing director Alexander Gomez. The executive said that 4G services are currently available in the cities of Guayaquil, Quito, Manta, Portoviejo, Ambato and Santo Domingo. Investments in the operator\'s LTE network are expected to reach $36 million. The LTE deployment stipulates the deployment of 400 base stations across the country.
