In the panel session of GTI Summit, Mr. Gao Tongqing, EVP of China Mobile, Mr. John Saw, EVP of T-Mobile US and Mr. Cristiano Amon, CEO of Qualcomm, shared their insightful views on strategic focus, challenging issues in the new phase of mobile industry and how to achieve greater values through cooperation. They noted that the current industry faces multiple challenges, such as high operation cost and high power consumption in information service infrastructure construction, and the integration of mobile information technology with various industries needs to be further deepened, which call for further opening-up and cooperation of the global industry. At the same time, they are expecting the industry will continue to rely on the GTI platform to collaborate in innovative technology and application, business models, as well as market expansion, and create greater value for various industries.
