Overview

The R&S LTE-A BS test solution is able to test and verify Base Station Radio Performance as per 3GPP TS36.141 Release 10 specification concerning LTE-Advanced.It continues to lead the TDD innovation by developing and providing new features, for example higher order MIMO and new 3GPP release features. The solution is available as a test solution for R&D teams and as a verification solution for network operators and infrastructure vendors. It is able to test against the 3GPP 36,141 Release 10 chapters 6,7 and 8 and in particular: • TD-LTE DL Carrier Aggregation Timing Alignment Error, e.g. 2 carriers and 4 antennas TAE • TD-LTE DL Higher Oder MIMO verification, e.g. 2 or 8 antennas TAE • TD-LTE BS Receiver performance verification, e.g. PRACH, PBCCH and PUSCH with HARQ and TA feedback with 2 antennas and format 3 • TD-LTE BS Receiver technology inside and outside of the target frequency band, e.g. Blocking in band and out of band • TD-LTE BS Transmitter technology inside and outside of the target frequency band, e.g. spurious emissions or spectrum flatness
