Vodafone Romania will significantly increase its LTE population coverage from the existing 32 percent, CTO Giovanni Chiarelli told local paper Ziarul Financiar, reported Telecompaper.com on Sept 4, 2014. The company will also strongly increase the coverage of its 3G network in rural areas as well as near cities. At the same time, the operator will expand its fiber optic network through which its antennas are connected. The company has now begun implementing the investments program created by the technical team for its network expansion, Chiarelli said.
